Vitax Organic Potato & Vegetable Fertiliser 4.5Kg is a slow-release, organic fertiliser formulated to support the vigorous growth of potatoes and other vegetable crops. Perfect for potato barrels, planters, and traditional garden plots, it provides a balanced supply of nutrients for sustained growth and bumper harvests.

This versatile fertiliser is suitable for a wide range of vegetables, from high vigour crops like tomatoes and courgettes to medium vigour crops such as beetroot, carrots, parsnips, leeks, and onions. Its slow-release action ensures plants receive consistent nutrition throughout the growing season.

Application Instructions:

• Direct Planting: Apply 140 g/m² (4 oz/sq.yd) to vacant plots and lightly fork into the soil.

• Trench Planting: Dig a trench 10–15 cm deep, place seed potatoes 30 cm apart, and cover to form a ridge.

• Containers / Potato Barrels: Use containers larger than 30 cm wide/deep, mix fertiliser with compost, place seed potatoes 15 cm below the rim, and fill with fertiliser-mixed compost. Position in a sunny spot and water regularly.

• Other Vegetables: Apply 140 g/m² prior to sowing/planting; top dress medium vigour crops at 70 g/m² during the growing season.
